Arlos

On the road to the Val d’Aran, situated at an altitude of 520 m.

The river Garonne, the Palarquère stream and the Rieu Sec stream, are the principal water courses which traverse the  commune of Arlos.

In the eighteenth century, the vine was still cultivated, despite the geographical situation not being the best for agriculture, the late frosts which jeopardise the crops and the Garonne river which frequently floods the fields.
